Fiat Grande Punto (2007) 1.9 MultiJet – Developed 130 to 186 bhp with torque 207 to 284 Lbft.
The 1.9 JTD 130 bhp uses common rail 2 technology. With multiple injections per stroke, it pushed refinement and power levels to a new high at the time of production.
With our software upgrade we can achieve 186 bhp and 284 lbft torque, providing for a huge increase in performance. The 130bhp is in essence a 150bhp (with an 8v head) – detuned in the software. The majority of the power, comes from the removal of limiters and the end result is achieved – using only a 0.1 bar increase in boost pressure. Despite the huge power improvement, it is a very safe and reliable upgrade.
