Ford Focus ST (2015) 2.0 TDCi – Developed 182 to 211 bhp with torque 295 to 363 Lbft.
Mid-range, the new ST will out punch the petrol, getting from 50-75mph in top gear 2.2 seconds quicker – so it’s no surprise that the new Diesel ST will be a hit. Numbers aside, it does feel fast and make no mistake the power is flexible. It comes on boost and begins to deliver that huge slug of torque from around 1500rpm, so it’s easy to keep it in the power band but, typically for a diesel, you can only ride that wave for a short time before you’ll need to change up.
The remap as ever, aiming to improve the delivery of the power and this should not disappoint those looking tune…..the ST Diesel providing a perfect blend between performance and economy!
