Euro 6 Transit Custom (2017) 2.0 TDCi 130bhp tuned!
Many will be asking if it is a detuned 170bhp which it most certainly is, the turbo and injectors are identical. There is a difference however, the software structure inside the SID211 management system (Now tunable via OBD ie no ECU removal required – using GENUINE Tools) is different between the 130 and 170bhp (that Celtic have seen so far) and therefore not a simple case of making it identical to the 170bhp.
After installing Celtic Tuning’s software, the van will see 186bhp and 360lbft from development – giving an impressive performance gain. Like the 170bhp, we have added 500rpm to the range and removed the speed limiter.
